HOW TO MEET

Step 1: Once it’s your turn, we send you a message with the person the dices paired you with.

Step 2: Pick up to 4 shots you like on your match’s social feeds and prepare a few questions for them about the said shot(s): how it was taken, why, what’s the story behind it, what does it mean etc.

Step 3: You can both chat on your dedicated Discord section. If you don’t like Discord, we’ll create a group chat for the two of you on Twitter or Instagram for you to discuss. You are too shy? No problem, you can send us your questions and we’ll pass them on to the other.

Step 4: You have two weeks to create your own shot, only one, based on what you learned from the other.

Step 5: When you’re ready, send us by mail (tcc.virtualgeo@gmail.com) shots picked as inspiration and your creative one for quality matters. Add a little introduction of yourself and a few words about what you learned while you were creating.

FAQ

Q: HOW MANY SHOTS MAY I CHOOSE?

A: You can choose up to 4 shots you like.

Q: HOW MANY SHOTS CAN I CREATE ?

A: Create only 1 shot based on everything you learned from the other.

Q: SHOULD MY CREATIVE SHOT BE A RECREATION OF THE SHOTS I PICKED?

A: No, the goal is actually to not reproduce the exact same shot but to learn from the others and then create something that is totally yours. Having two similar shots… wouldn’t bring much earning, right ? The satisfaction is how you’ll create something with your own creativity, using what you learned. It doesn’t have to be the same game, or the same car, or the same features or the same set up. If what you like in a shot is the reddish shades, it doesn’t matter what the subject is, you just need to apply the reddish the way you now know how it was done. If you liked the way they captured a portrait, say the lips of the character… Maybe you can apply what you learned, focusing on say a nose or a hand, or even an eye.

WILLING TO WORK WITH US?

Through this community project, we highlight the work of all Virtual Photography artists within the pages of a quality magazine. This is why, in order to reach a wider audience and be accessible to everyone, we called on the Japanese community to translate our first edition, as well as the following ones.

When possible, we asked anyone willing to bring their editions to their native language. So far, we translated our magazine up to 6 languages recently including Ukrainian.

Should you be interested in the project willing to help us expand our magazines into other languages, contact us!

EVERYONE IS WELCOME including Photography, Virtual Photography and all visual art mediums.
